Style-wise for Kessler yes......Pavlik is the worse choice, but Magee and Pavs would be a pickum if there ever was one.

And remember, KP is still only 31/32. Magee is getting up there.:think

 

Nothing at all wrong with Kessler vs Magee. Magee is STILL a top 10 SMW, and while ppl can point to his losses, he still only loses it seems to elite level fighters.
IMO, if Kessler is STILL elite, which I believe he is, he likely finds a way to stop BM late. If Kessler aint elite still, it could come to the cards, and Magee will find ways inside to sneak some of those rds. Mikkel had better let them hands go.:think

 

Well im a tad disappointed but who else can he fight at the moment?

Ward just fought Dawson, Froch is tied up with Mack and Bute, Abraham isnt going to fight him and Dirrell has a bout scheduled under TMT i assume so Magee is a stay busy fight.

Sakio Bika is not the type of fighter you want before a big fight when you already have suffered injuries in the past

 

I don't like this fight with Mcgee, but you know that Froch is not availble.
Froch have a fight the 17th of november. After that fight he have the Bute rematch, and then he'll fight Kessler.

 

Doesn't change the fact that he took on two unbeaten fighters on the road, one who retired undefeated and one who still is undefeated..

 

Nah. This fight will happen, but it's a stadium event. Why make it indoors in the winter when you can double the revenue outdoor in the summer?

Froch said himself he wanted an easier fight after fighting so many top level fighters in a row

Froch is fighting Yusaf Mack next and then Bute has a contracted rematch (although that might get disrupted if Bute somehow loses his next fight) and then he is free to take on Mikkel Kessler

In the meantime Kessler can afford to have an easier fight against Magee seeming as he has been inactive as of late and can maybe fight Kelly Pavlik whilst Froch is tied up with Bute. If Kessler were to win the WBA then we could see what the WBA do when there are two WBA champions unifying belts
