Kessler hasn't avoided anyone.

In fact Froch and Kessler are the only two in the entire top of the division to truely deserve props for taking on tough fights abroad.

Re the 'tune ups' though.... how long time does Kessler need to tune up? It has been a year now since he came back... I don't think any more tune-ups are necessary.

And actually I don't consider Magee a tune-up. Magee is a good fighter just below the top 5-6 guys. His level also consists of Green, Bika, Pavlik etc.

I been a Kessler fan since the very first pro fight and it is the first time I feel that he go under the bridge.

Still Magee is muck better then the Calzaghe or Ottke tomato cans we have seen!


But why do other people say that he ain't fighting the best possible?
Kessler will go to England to fight Froch to!

Kessler have meet 8 undefeated boxers out of 47 and a lot of them where highly ranked!
Who else have beaten a 6-0 opponent in the very first pro fight?

Oh well I'll watch it, and wait in anticipation for the Froch rematch.

 

I hear when a danish child is acting up, his parents tell them to behave or Brian Magee will come get them!

 

Magee has slim to no chance of out-boxing Kessler and no chance in hell of Knocking him out.
While after seeing Green dropping iron-chinned Kessler you might think a much better puncher as Bika or even Stevenson might do more damage to the Dane.

There are plenty available unlike when Bute was outside of Super six and fought half of the decent guys left outside of it.

 

I thought I read Dirrell was suppose to fight Magee.

 

While I understand the business reasons for this fight, I have to say it is still disappointing since he's coming off of fights against Bouadla and Green.

Hopefully the rematch with Froch happens down the line.

 

I think unless Kessler can land a fight for BIG money he stops in Denmark fighting these type of charcters. He's pretty shot folks.
