The USA welcomes Kessler and his team, and I sincerely hope he enjoys his stay and pray that everyone is very courtious to him.

I'm glad a great fight like this is being made. Kessler could've chosen to take a cupcake bounce back sort of fight but instead he winds up facing Edison Miranda.

Hook this up with a sweet lil undercard bout and you got a COTY candidate.

Indeed my friend. Big ups to Kessler for taking a dangerous opponent right out of the gate to show he means business, and big ups to Miranda for wanting the biggest dog still in 168 (assuming Calz is staying LHW from here).

Agree with you 100%, I can't wait for this showdown and a good undercard and HBO will be shittin their pants for letting Showtime have this one.:deal

Kessler will smash his totally overrated crude foe who still has to learn one or two things before he can take on such a classy fighter like Kessler.
Miranda wasnt able to take out an severely injured Abraham who was bleeding like a shot pig losing tons of blood in the course of the last 7 rounds.Quite the opposite Abraham was the one who seemed to be more likely to stop Miranda.
Does anyone really think here that if Miranda had been the one with a broken jaw losing tons of blood that Abraham would not have been able to knock Miranda out in brutal fashion.
Miranda wouldnt have survived a single round with that injury against a healthy Abraham.
And even with that severe injury Abraham somehow managed to hurt his Columbian foe a few times in the later rounds.
    Kessler will murder Miranda.

BoxRec no more has Montreal as the venue... Is it going to be the USA after all?

A boxing site on the scene says that there's no venue yet....

Doesn't benefit me at all, but hell it's as random and unlikely a venue as any other near an ESB member, and if any one of us gets to see this half a round of brutality live in the bloody flesh, well that'd be a good thing. :good

Have you been there my man?? I've done a lot of research on it but haven't had any cards there "Hot" enough to stoke my interest to travel up. And if I'm doing something like that I go all out and get "tanked" so I would have to stay in a room there and would probably lose my ass gambling as well. I had serious thoughts of going when they let Tommy Morrison fight there a little while back, but didn't make it. Just wondering if you've been how do you rate the experience and what type of dough did you have to drop for a good time??:good

It would be to fukin cool just to think Miranda and Kessler were in WV period. All we have as a "known" pro-boxer at this point in time is the Uber Killer Jeremy "the Beast" Bates.

Crazy thing about Bates though, if he'd been able to win the fights, he'd have one of the top resumes in all of boxing.
