What do you guys think of that matchup? I think if would be far better than Joe-Pavlik since Joe would be way too slick for Pavlik and obviously he can take hard shots. But imagine two power punchers with both power and decent skills. That would be a definate fight of the year candidate for next year.
I would have to go with Kessler he would have too much power for Pavlik and his defense is alot better than Taylors so i see a stoppage in the 6th or 7th round. A slugfest all the way throughout though.
Kessler by a WIDE UD, he could possibly even KO Pavlik if he went for it. Pavlik sometimes got outboxed by Taylor and was even knocked down by him, Kessler is a much more superior boxer to Taylor, has an great defence, and is alot stronger, he'd read Pavlik like a book.
Why is it that people dont get this? in 31 fights has 29 KO's and has Knocked out people that have never even tasted the canvas, and yet somehow he has no power to compete at SMW? People gotta get this point through their head!
