Yes, I see what you mean. I just imagine RJJ trying to do the "stick and run" thing, which of course he might be too slow to pull off these days. Trinidad hitting RJJ is no measure stick. He is a "little man". If RJJ can put himself in a better physical condition, than what was the case against Tarver and Johnson, it could potentially spell nasty trouble for Kessler. Again, it comes down to RJJ moving them legs. When Kessler is pushed to move "unconventionally" some of his polished boxing false apart IMO. That's why I say a better footwork would improve Kessler a lot.

At this point, Kessler destroys Jones. He would have an easier time with him than he did with Anthony Mundine.

Roy would get beat to the punch all night and would find himself at the end of Kessler's right hand.

A motivated Jones like the one we saw against Trinidad would toy with Kessler as he did with Trinidad. Jones UD

jones beats no one worth giving a **** about between 160 and 175 anymore. he is shot to ****ing pieces and kessler would ice his ass inside 6.

Trinidad, at 170, isn't half the fighter Kessler is right now. Jones wouldn't toy with him. If anything, he'd be having massive troubles closing the gap because of Kessler's excellent sense of distance and left jab.

Roy isn't active enough to beat him

He looked pretty active to me in the Trinidad fight. He also looked like he was able to take a few hard punches. No way am I saying that Jones is back but I just dont think that highly of Kessler. The Kessler that fought JC looses to Jones.

Kessler by shutout. Or maybe late stoppage. Either way Jones will take a beating. Not good for a fighter his age.

RJJ is my favorite fighter but i wouldn't want him to face Kessler. RJJ doesn't have his legs anymore and he only throws in spurts and has to take a lot of the round off if he does exert himself. That's what he did against Tito. And Tito got in some shots. He's just lucky there was nothing behind them. But a guy like Kessler with better overall talent would affect RJJ more.

The only way i envision RJJ winnning is if he comes out smoking and goes for the KO. He certainly has the talent to still do that but he will be so gased the rest of the way.

Jones is shot. What part of that don't you understand?
A prime Jones handles Kessler comfortably but that version is long gone.
