He's unquestionably slightly past his best, but he was good enough to edge Froch out - in a way Froch wouldn't have expected to have been edged out too.

Back when he fought Calzaghe he looked probably a division bigger on the scales - how me continues to make 168 puzzles me.

If it wasn't for there being so much action to be had at super middle I'm sure he'd just move up. He's got the beating of Pascal and Dawson too.

According to danish newspapir, Stieglitz manager is currently unaware of any offer from the Kessler camp.

    - " There's no Kessler-fight. So far there's no plans, and we are working on Roberts next fight to be in Magdeburg in March, and Kessler is not in those plans" Says manager Ulf Steinforth to ekstrabladet.dk

could you imagine a future fight between your guy and Mikkel Kessler?

    - "Kessler is certainly not uninterresting, and I cant reject that there could be a fight in the future. But we're getting alot of offers for alot of fights, but at the moment I dont know anything about a Kessler offer. As of now I'll say no more concerning this.

good fight for kessler and when he wins he will pick up the wbo title and when he fights the winner of the super 6 it will be for 3 of the 4 major belts

Sauerland are probably pretty keen in getting Kessler back in there considering how much of a dud AA turned out to be at 168. I think they could stump up a tempting offer for Steiglitz to go to Denmark. It'd give Kessler a good tough comeback fight and put him alongside Bute and the S6 winner.

I really think you're talking total bollocks.

It's obvious he's past his better days but if he's shot to pieces he must have been either ****ing amazing to start with or Froch is really crap. The answer is neither, because he's still a competent world class fighter.

TBH i really don't see kessler doing much other than cherry pick the odd title.

I hope Carl gets a rematch as he's the better fighter of the two, and would prove it in a rematch imo

Kessler ain't shot to pieces. He's a world class fighter but I'm sorry beeston brawler Dawson would be far to slick for him. As for bute I'd back froch ward dirrell and Kessler to beat him. If bute wants a career high pay day he's gotta stay unbeaten and move up to fight pascal in Montreal.

Despite all the noise about Bute, i think a fit and sharp Kessler beats him.
