Kessler wants to own hardware that's equivalent to Bute's so he can either A) bypass Bute for a shot at the S6 winner, or B) get more money or 'have more weight' in negos for a potential Bute fight early 2012. Showtime probably won't let 'A' happen simply because they wouldn't be maximizing their use of the top 5 SMW's, and would probably be happy with 'B' assuming the S6 winner wants either a long break or a homecoming softy defense after the S6 final.
