Anyone else think this is definitely the best fight in the entire tournament? The only one that would get me just as excited is Abraham Kessler, MAYBE Froch-Abraham...but Kessler-Ward promises A+ level boxing from two of the best in the sport.

We're going to see great technique, fast hands, big power, good defense, EVERYTHING! I have a feeling it will on the level of Kessler-Calzaghe...just an excellent fight to demonstrate the beauty of boxing! :good

Abraham/Taylor was a dream match for me. Ive been wanting to see that fight for the past 3 years. But Kessler/Abraham in the Second Stage will be great.

I love boxing matches as much as absolute brawls, for me Calzaghe-Kessler is up there with any war of this decade. Ward certainly has the movement, speed and punch variety of Calzaghe, although power, workrate and stamina is a big question, something Joe still needed to run away with the victory.

It's an EXCELLENT fight, probably the best boxing match of the year, I just don't see how can this be something less than wonderful. Very underrated fight.

It has the potential to offer the highest standard of boxing in the super 6, although I think Froch/Abraham has the highest excitement potential.

I'm looking forward to Kessler v Ward as much or more than Pac v Cotto.

Likely the best fight of the whole tournament imo. Kessler is a tall order for ward, but Ward is my main in this tournament and I am behind him 100%!

IMO this fight is going to be close on the cards. Kessler is a good boxer and ward is a master boxer. kessler has the edge in power and combination punching. ward has the advantage in defense. Kessler has a better jab, ward can fight from southpaw and traditional and is a better counter puncher.

Really each guy has a counter for the other. As far as styles goes I see them both having moments of success.

IMO the key to the win for Kessler is his very good jab. If he can establish it and stick with it he can get a points win.

For Ward, he needs to avoid the jab and make kessler pay for missing. For ward the key is his defense and counter punching.

I'm afraid it isn't that simple. Trying to counter kessler's jab is like the guy in "wanted" trying to grab that metal object threw the fast moving razor sharp shears. Kessler is the way more proven fighter than Ward, and has a more calculated punch output. He's got the experience, power, and stamina over ward. Ward has a slight speed advantage, but kessler's timing is better. Ward is being overrated on these boards as being something he's not. Remember, audley harrison was a gold medalist too.
How has his pro career done thus far? You have to like kessler in this fight by late stoppage. He will catch ward and ward will be hurt. Mark my words!

Ya -- just think -- without the super six we might be subjected to **** like Kessler/Bute, and Andrade/Abraham -- who the **** wants to see that crap -- it's much better to see Bute and other top SMW's excluded while Froch, Kessler, and Abraham fight green prospects, and shot to **** middleweights.
