This is wrong. Ward is not a prospect by any means. He is a legitimate title contender and hopefully he beats kessler to gain a share of the title. If you dont see the talent in Ward then you obviously cannot recognize talent.

Ward doesnt have that impressive of a resume, he easily beat up Miranda though and he is a top 15 SMW, likely a top 10 gatekeeper. Kessler doesnt exactly have a bang up resume himself for being a pro for so long. My little photoshop tribute.

This fight is going to be a close one and it will go to the cards. I have Andre Ward winning 7-5

 

Here is the way that I see the fight. Just like in the fight with Dirrell and Froch you will come away feeling like Ward is the better of the two fighters. The problem in boxing is that the better fighter dont always win. Im not sure who will win this fight, if I were going on talent and skills alone it would be ward in a no brainer. Kessler is over ratered and Ward is rated about were he should be at this point, so many feel that this fight is a mismatch and it will be far from that. I have also felt from the start that the winner of this fight will sin the entire tourn.

But at the end of the day the Tourny has taken a back seat to some of the other fights that have happened and are about to happen. so I dont know that we need to be thanking god for this.

 

Ward is no calzaghe, I think this will prove to be a mismatch.
