I disagree. Kessler had no chance. He was *********,out-slugged by an aging 35 year old. What a hype this guy is. And, yes, he got his ass handed to him. The euro guys bs. alot of their fights. Kessler b.s.d this fight for the payday. Yes, and he is a bum.
Wtf? Screw you. You're basically discrediting the greatest win of JC's career? That seems pretty stupid to me. I had it 115-113 for Joe, btw.
Well a rematch makes little sence at this point. Kessler got his chance and he did pretty well in my book - I think it was a great fight - but Calzaghe has other places to go from here. Kessler is young and I'm sure he bounch back - as I said before the fight - the only fighter who can beat Kessler is Calzaghe - I stand by that. Kessler will beat the rest around SMW.
Stop reading so much into it, ****. You immature little babies were just treated to a SPECTACLE, and there's a great SFW fight starting right now. And you're picking apart a standard textbook post-fight comment from champions suffering their first defeat? Of course he's going to say he wants a rematch, someone on that elite level carrying that much pride into a fight is always going to say in the heat of the moment directly after losing that they want another go. Additionally, this was a decisive victory but NOT a blowout. Mikkel won some rounds (I say 5, consensus is around 3-4, we can argue til the cows come home). I'm sure when he watches tape of tonight he'll say, "Wow holy ****. As amazing a mortal as I am, Calzaghe is supernatural". And resign to rooting for his conqueror in his bid at LHW and licking his chops at the prospect of the ONLY MAN WHO CAN BEAT HIM AT 168 vacating the division.
