Kessler wants Martinez at 160

People are making too much of the Murray fight.

Murray was a top 10 fighter and Martinez was having his first fight back from injury and broke his hand in the fight.

 

I think Martinez has been a bit overrated really, did not look good against either Macklin or Barker, and beat a really overhyped Chavez jr (who's dumb enough to be using cannabis in the build up to his fights)
Given that both men have been getting hit more and more of late, and that Mikkel seems to have the better punch resistance, I would probably side with th Viking Warrior, although probably would be at a catchweight

 

Martinez should jump all over that.

I think he easily wrecks Kessler at 160.

think GGG promoter is doin a good job,, fight absolutly nobody and claim to be the most feared man on the planet

lets see how he does against macklin before we clain him as the greatest 160 lber in the world (personally i think he stops him so this isnt a hate post about GGG, jus his fans who think hed knock out martinez and ward on the same night)

Martinez just took a beating off Murray, but Kessler looks very thin at 168 already so I doubt he could get to 160 and be effective

 

if kessler got down to 160,serg could finger nudge him and he's going down.

I really doubt Kessler can make 160 safely. Keyword is "safely". It would be a good fight on paper though. And to top it off, I doubt Kessler will be picky with his shots ala Barker and Murray, Kessler style plays into Martinez style.

This^ Can Kessler even make the ****ing weight? Hasn't he spent pretty much his entire career at 168? Killing himself to get to 160 might actually give the past-it Martinez a chance of winning.
