Kessler wants to fight Haussler soon

    According to a Danish newspaper Kessler wants the fight with Haussler
    in late sept.so he can go on with his carrier. But team Sauerland plan the fight to the 25 of oct.
    What a wasted year for Kessler.

    Well. I guess he wasn´t going to fight again before after Christmas anyways. What is important is the he now has a belt, and the fact that HBO is still interested in televising his fights:deal
    I believe that we will see some nice match up´s in 09. Fights I predict to happen are

    1: Kessler vs JT

    2: Kessler vs Froch

    3: Kessler vs Bute

    Anyway, every good opponent is busy this autumn. Let's hope 2009 will be a better year for the SMW division.

    Kessler made his own bed with all the crap he has pulled this year. I'm glad he is getting screwed stuck waiting for real fights and that the Haussler fight didn't get blown off.

    I hope this gets strung out until 2009...

    My guess is that Sauerland was expecting to be paid off. That didn't happen. Now Haussler stands in front of the biggest beating he has ever taken.

    And Kessler has wasted valuable time fighting lesser opponents instead of going the US-way straight away. A fighters prime is short. Kessler has wasted some valuable time here.

    Yes, and Haussler himself already lost to Markussen and Larsson. So after the Kessler fight he will be 0:3 himself vs. Danish fighters.
    Well, at least we own Denmark in soccer, and maybe in every other sport beside boxing :bbb
