caper, if you reckon kessler v ward would've ended the way it did anywhere other than oakland with a fellow californian as ref, i suggest you need to do some growing up yourself. ib, i think you're understating hunter's abilities somewhat, but even then having a superior trainer in mccracken in his corner didn't get froch the w.
Surprisingly enough I do see your point sir unfortunately I don't see how Ward traveling to another stadium would give his opponent any sort of distinct advantage and vice versa not at this level of boxing maybe if these two were in the beginning of their respective careers. Sorry I guess we can agree to disagree
Another mammoth factor woud be a referee that doesnt let Ward away with his over clinching and wild ram impressions
This highlights my opinion that SMW is not as strong as it was a few years ago. Recycling older fighters coming off long lay offs and a loss as a big fight for the champ. Providing Kessler hasnt faded much more, I think it could be competitive, but I dont think Ward will travel to face Kessler, like Kessler did for Ward. Just my opinion
I just want Ward to come back and fight and win big it's unfortunate he doesn't want to move up to 175 it would be exciting. Hoping he fights the Dirrels, Groves, Degale and hell if we get a GGG fight sure why not. But after these which he can do in 2 years I hope he moves up!
When are they officially announcing this May the spirit of Odin guide Mikkel to avenge the oakland stinker
What was so special about super middleweight a few years ago? Calzaghe retires and suddenly super middleweight is no long good. GTFOH.
That would help sell tickets because Ward has been out of it for too long.:verysad I think he can bring in his loyal fan base if he has the fight in Oakland.:good :smoke
:rofl IB got jokes today:good I think the fight would do very well in Oakland. Crack-heads love to watch boxing.....sort of :smoke
