After Saturday nights upset one thing can be said. Ward is now red hot and has been seen to be peoples new pick to win it all. Kessler who was the odds maker's favorite and probably most people's favorite or top 3 choice is now rated as low as 5 or 6. Is it possible that the loss knocks Kessler back to reality and motivates him to bounce back. It is hard to motivate yourself when you are on top of the world. (not implying reason he lost just speculating for round two). Ward seemed to take that hunger of probably being the most unexpecected candidate at first. He is now big time and to some the front runner. Now his is a long tournament, round 2 then two are eliminated then four then the final. Ward will probably win and get to the final four. Now can Kessler beat Froch. He certaintly will be the underdog something he has not been in awhile. I see Froch Kessler as the best matchup of the whole thing to aggressive powerful jab cross fighters. If he wins and then has enough points to make it throuh the elimination could he do it. Another thing is does being a favorite get to Ward's head. Two factors that I thought Ward and Dirrel had were the fact that they are darkhorse fighters. Nobody saw too much of them whereas Froch and Abraham and Kessler and Taylor had numerous title fights and alot of exposure and footage and knowledge about them. Now Ward is no longer a mystery. He has 11 rounds on tape against a world class foe. He will no longer be underestimated but also now everybody saw what he can do. Will it matter who knows. Sometimes having a good training strategy preparation and knowledge is not enough to trump great boxing skills. I see Ward and Abraham and Froch getting to the next round with wins in round 2. Taylor loses Kessler loses and Dirrel loses. But which 2 get eliminated is it Taylor cause he got KO'd. I dont understand how they do that. But whatever just my predictions
