Happens when a guy steps up in competition. But, in terms of the "ruining", probably no more so than a guys 1st loss would've been to anyone else. It's obviously not from any sort of severe beating one would've have taken, due to JC's style, but chances are, the guys just weren't what they were cracked up to be before they fought JC.

I haven't made up my mind whether Kessler is done or just stylistically unsuited for Calzaghe and Ward.

After the Froch fight, I'll know. Froch is basically Andrade with more power and fewer punches. If Kessler struggles with him, then we'll know he's seriously declined. If he dominates him, we'll know that Kessler is just bad against those quick southpaw types.

 

But Ward's not from the bay area, is he? You probably think he's from Africa.
