Why?? Because this was supposed to be the "Greatest supermiddleweight in the world" today, thats what everyone said about Kessler?? and then hes goes on and gets easily beaten, bloodied up by some guy with just 20 fights!!??

    OVERHYPED & OVERRATED

Ward won and Kessler lost.....end of. Why can't it be as simple as that.....no wonder boxers don't wanna fight anyone anymore and just protect the '0' as many stupid fans will say things like 'oh he was all hype'.

BOXERS ARE ALLOWED TO LOSE YOU KNOW!!! Thats why this Super Six 6 is great for boxing good fighters all fighting one another, some will lose, some will win and boxing will defo win.

Fair play to Kessler he lost.....he is hype........NO!

The reason people are screaming 'hype' and 'exposed' is because Kessler didn't just lose, he got schooled, humiliated. A 41-0 champion reduced to swinging at air, looking amateurish. It makes people question his record.

He won't win it now. The only way he wins it is if the seeds work out so that Abraham faces Ward and takes him out, then perhaps Abraham is a better match for Kessler.

He can still go deep into the tourny though, he's got some favourable matchups so its in his hands.

A hyped boxer is a fighter who has a 30-0 record with no real names or titles on it. Kessler had plenty of good and decent names on his record including several "real" belts - he fought away from home several times and did well. Last night he lost big time - explanations? Kessler was overhyped? reacted badly to headbuts and the following blurred vision? Kesslers legal dispute with Palle had demotivated him? The pressure of being the favourite and away from home got to him? He just had an off-day? His corner sucked? Kessler has simply lost the will to box/ is demotivated? Wards style was just perfect to beat Kessler?

Well who knows? We'll hopefully know after the Froch-fight.

One thing is for sure - he wasn't overhyped - he is a proven pro with good victories and several defenses af his belts. And he was until last night undenibly the most proven active SMW - so it was just natural that he was the favourite.

Saying Kessler was just a hypejob leaves Ward just another Hype job - he is made out to be the next big thing - on the grounds of what? Beating Chinnychin, slow and onedimensional Miranda? or by beating the robotic, onedimensional, I have no plan B eurotrash Kessler? Nahh Ward is nothing but a chinachinned US hypejob - another Lacy - remember him? - he got his ass handed to him by the mother of all hypejobs: Calzaghe!

Boxing is a strange sport in that way.
