Kessler will beat Calzaghe, I have come to realise this.

As the fight is getting closer I wonder what Taylor's plan will be. He surely can't let Pav back him in a corner and bomb away like Wink did. I get a sick gut feeling that Manny will have JT in a jab and grab mode similiar to that which he has Wlad doing. Not that it would be a bad idea to keep from getting bombed on, but it may make the fight a stinker.

    Pavlik ko 7.

Who's disputed that Taylor's chin isn't rock solid? Only thing I've seen is that his chin isn't glass (as some here claim). His chin is solid average to a little below average. He was hurt by Winky because he was fatigued. Yes, he hasn't fought big punchers. Whether he's intentionally avoided them is another question. This fight should answer a lot of questions either way. If Taylor goes out like a light, then I'll give you props on this one, but I do think Taylor's chin is slightly better than you're giving him credit for.

What I HAVE disputed is that he folds under pressure, and I still have yet to see the evidence that he does so. Every time I ask the question, the Taylor haters avoid it. Once again, I DON'T LIKE TAYLOR EITHER. I'm rooting for Pavlik. I just think that because Taylor is overrated by some, others here are wildly underrating him to compensate.

Props for the intro though. That was high comedy :rofl:rofl

Knowing Manny that's exactly what they are working on. I hope it gets Taylor knocked out in the process.

Ouma and Wright pressured and while Wright is highly skilled, he lacks the size comparison of a larger pressure guy and certainly lacks the punching power, Taylor loses his game plan under pressure, drops his defense, has poor survival skills and while he has heart, he's not intelligent in the ring and cannot deal with a guy on him all night.

Ouma had him up against the ropes so many times, it was just ridiculous, as did Wright.

Now imagine a bigger pressure guy, like Andrade, whether you think Andrade's skilled or not at his own style, he pressure's well and is no less skilled than Ouma, but larger, with equal stamina, near the workrate and a titanium chin with power.

Pavlik's more skilled than Andrade, just less chin and less stamina, I'd say less power also.

But everyone is so quick to pick Taylor over Andrade, it's absurd.

But don't you think a fighter would handle pressure differently when he's facing someone whose punches aren't hurting him? Note how after Wright dazed him, he started to fight more aggressively. Taylor's strong suit (or at least he thinks his strong suit) is countering, and if you have a fighter pressuring you, there are a lot more opportunities to land effective counterpunches. As long as their punches weren't hurting him, he had the leeway to sit back, shell up, and land big counters which were more effective than much of the other fighters' pressure when the opportunity arose. Against someone who's a bigger puncher, I strongly suspect he won't feel comfortable taking that approach and will change his fight plan.

Taylor would not be hit by andrade.andrade is slow as **** and Ouma has a smothering style not andrade who is slow as ****. Taylor wont hurt him but handle his ass in a tough fight. Man...get off Taylor's back..the guy is a good fighter.. I dont even like him. I criticized his ass years ago for droping that left hand like a ****** like he is going to pull something out of his pocket. I was a Taylor hater...lol You have effectively converted me to a fan by your constant ridicule. You are a very very smart guy. I know you are doing this b/c me and you both know that Pavlik will KO him. It is not b/c he is a horrible fighter. But the mistakes Taylor does make will get him knocked out by a KO artist with a devastating str8 right hand like Pavlik. That has more power then anything Andrade throws might I add. Andrade has a steel chin his power aint ****. He was struggling to get a super hometown mediocre fighter out of there after hitting him with his whole arsenal.

Kessler will beat Calzaghe and Taylor will beat Pavlik. I wonder if after both these things happens your learn to doubt the infallibility of your opinions or go on talking illconcieved garbage. Obviously the latter. Anyway, dont know which of your overrated punks im looking forward to seeing get smashed more. :)
