He's absolutely text book when it comes to straight punching. Wonderful to watch when in full flow.

I'd pick him easily over anybody not named Joe Calzaghe from 168 downwards. In fact, I can't see too many beating him at 175 either. Pavlik would get get beaten to the jab all night and Taylor's too lazy, both in his guard and output, to either stop him or outpoint him. The only person with the skill and speed to really get to him is Dawson, but he's not blessed with a strong enough chin for me to confidently claim he can go 12 with Mikkel. Excellent fighter.

I totaly agree. Dawson would be dangerous for Kessler and Calzaghe would beat him again.

Kessler is the second/third best from 175 and down.

Yeah but his chin is still almost untested - we saw him on the floor against Adamek but he recovered pretty good.

Dawson vs. Kessler is really a fight I hope for in a year or two:good
