Kessler did more in his loss to Calzaghe than Froch has done. A fighter of Calzaghe's calibre whitewashes Froch.
ok i get what your saying...froch is putting together a decent resume. can't deny that. but after watching froch/dirrell a few times...the kessler that lost to joe beats the froch that beat dirrell pretty badly. in fact, the kessler from the first six rounds of the calzaghe fight probably stops the froch from the dirrell fight around then.
Kessler Andrade (a basic brawler) in denmark(prime)- Next fight he beat down Robert Stieglitz, your new WBO Super Middleweight Champion, managed to come back and stop Yusuf Mack (contender at 175).. Mundine - Former rugby league pro turned into a good pro... ALSO, this fight took place in AUSTRALIA~!! And Kessler still managed to win.. Mundine is still a Contender at this stage of his career... could grab a belt at Middleweight... Beyer - Shot , but not too long ago was god enough to beat Danny Green.. Lucas - didnt Jones beat him after playing basketball 10 years ago? Manny Siaca- Just beat Mundine like a fight prior to this one... Froch Taylor (1st defence away in the US with no fanbase/UK backing) A fighter fighting a prime Super Middleweight for the first time.. Not sure what Jeff Lacy was... Pascal (now WBC champ - prime talented fighter) Fighting out of Canada for the first time.... Dirrell - again most athletically gifted fighter @168 (SD but a win vs a prime fighter) Fighting out of the Us for the first time since the Olympics... Brian McGee -Prime probably as legit as Lucas Robin Reid - as shot to death as Beyer/Lucas It's fairly even...
Kessler still has the better resume. BUT Froch has been closing the gap with his last three fights. Despite the VERY close decisions at HOME against Pascal and Dirrell, he still won and should get a bit of recognition for that. Three fights ago, however, Froch had virtually no resume.
