I keep hearing from posters here that it is not. However, just heard that Thomas Gerbasi is reporting that Kessler has not been able to spar recently due to a hand injury.
If Kessler's hand is hurt and Joe's are fine then its going to be a brutal beatdown. You don't beat Calzaghe without both hands.
He said himself on Frankwarren.tv that it was only a rumour. I do believe that Mikkel himself knows more about his own hand than some writer. :good
Doesnt convince me, a fighter will never expose an injury if he is going forward with the fight. If the man is not sparring (or sparring less), Im suspicious.
He said himself that he didn't know where this writer got the info.. and he made sure that he's perfectly fine. Regarding his sparring, he's done some heavy sparring up until a few weeks ago, obviously he has been very secretive about his training and sparring. I just think that Mikkel wants to be under the radar and surprise everybody. That's why he reacted to his physical trainer, when some medical info leaked to media. Again, it's probably nothing, it's just Mikkel, he wants to stay the underdog and want nothing to change from this point. Again, if he was injured, I think we would've known by now.
