Couldnt agree more. Dont get me wrong I know it will never happen, but Kessler made a helluva lot of sacrafices to make the fight happen, & this shouldnt be forgotten. Joe owes Kessler a rematch.

I dont think any boxing fan in the world wouldnt want to see a rematch, no matter where it is held as the first fight was so good.

Not gonna happen. Joes only got 1 or 2 fights left. He wants a couple of other big names on his resume. Also seems like standard post fight bitterness from Kessler unfortunately.

I personally wouldn't be that excited by a rematch... Kessler boxed well, went up in most peoples estimations but ultimately joe won 10 of the 12 rounds and proved that he's the better man... much rather see him in with Hopkins, Pavlik or even Woods now.

Hope this isn't going to happen.......don't get me wrong I still love my man Kessler just think he's got to get elsewhere for a fight (States).

He just fought the no. 1 guy and lost .....a re-match against Joe would be a stupid move cause then He'd have even more to loose that his former 2 belts.....His entire career!!!!

No as I see it Mikkel should go for either Taylor or Winky then Bute or Mundine ....and hopefully he'll be the Victor and if Joe's still around in let's say 2 fight time then a re-match in Denmark would make sense.

What a great surprise to read a letter from a true gentlemen. Its a good change to those whiney American bitches who make every excuse under the sun when they loose fights.

Impossible not to like the guy but I sure would like him a lot more had he won! Great fight and just what boxing needed, no **** talking, no controversy just good sportmanship and athleticism on display

Kessler is now one of my favourite fighters. He's such a classy guy.

Calzaghe hasn't got time for a rematch he has to get some "names" out of the way and call it a day, Kessler has the backing of HBO and a legion of new fans he could probably land fights with most top guys without much trouble.

For christ sake! Don't you read other peoples posts??? Not all people see the fight the way you do. Wake up man! There is a lot to prove for who some people call stay-at-home JC. Remember.

I don't think so. It should be the norm in top boxing that if it is close a rematch is only fair and good sportmanship. Obviously some people didn't see the fight as close enough.

He really does come across as a class act, I'm certainly a new fan and will be following his progress. Hope he comes back and gets the big fights with Pavlik etc.

If Joe only won 4 or 5 rounds wouldn't that mean he lost the fight?

absolutely Oz - Kessler's tasted defeat at the hands of a very special fighter - no way will he give Mundine a sniff of victory should they fight again.

I think Kessler will learn how to be even more aggressive in his demeanour in the ring after this loss, and that spells D.O.O.M. for Mundine.
