Sauerland Event is a good promotion and one, which let their fighters try to exploit foreign markets overseas.

Kessler would have a great following in nearly all of Europe if he joins forces with SE and also wouldn't have to worry to get some big fights in the US.

Though I think that Arena (even with a dogdy CEO in Oener) would be the best option b/c Arena works closely with GBP in the US...

Yeah, Golden Boy Promotion is the best promotor in the world. They care about all their fighters. Or do they?

Latest example: Librado Andrade. They didn't protest at all, when the governing body appointed a Canadian referree (!) to rule the fight against Romanian/Canadian Lucian Bute in Canada.

Well, OK, perhaps they are not so great. They may have money in the bank, but they are novices.

Palle would never accept that kind of treatment for his fighter. Neither would Sauerland, Kesslers forthcoming promotor.

Definately needs to make the move to the US. His best bet would be with GBP, then Oscar could by him out of the Palle contract. A move to TopRank would be good to.

Kessler is now back from vacation in Thailand. He says he is not interested in any "dirt throwing" with the Palle camp. Kessler has asked his lawyers to see if they can hammer out a deal with Palle ASAP so that things can settle down before they get out of hand.

I could accept Sauerland only as long as he doesn't have to work under Ulli Wegner ... boy can he f*ck up a fighter. Just about all his fighters fight boring and without the killer instinct. Take Mads Larsen - he had a KO-rate of around 80 - good power and he went for the kill - now he fights "german" - fight safe - go the distanse and leave it to the German judges...

Sauerland is proberbly the most stady paycheck and the biggest - the money in Germany these days are somewhat bigger than in the US - if you don't count ODH and Pacman.

Sauerland offered Kessler 1,5 mill$ to fight Larsen ... Kessler was offered around 100.000$ to fight Johnson in the US - that should tell you something about the difference in pay.

GBP can make the big fights happen, but he would just be a average fighter to them - and we've seen how they "use" those - see the post about Andrade futher up. Kessler might very well have what it takes to make it to the top thou - and then GBP is the place to be these days...

Don King - don't even think about going there...

Warren - no way in hell - he is just the English Palle.

Calzaghe ... well might not be such a bad idea - he'd be his top name (and only name for now) and it seems Calzaghe do have some decent connections.

One thing is for damn sure - he should go with his friend Simon Lundt!!!

But lets see what happens - first he has to break free of Palle - and that's much easier said than done

He should sign for GBP and start fighting on HBO.
