Nah yo, he beat Andrade :rofl and he lost to Calzaghe winning 4 rounds. Thats a victory in its self. :rofl
He is very good, but he's been somewhat inactive.Does anyone know what's going on with him these days?
He is trying to brake loose from his contract with his promotor, its bad cuz it could end in a trial.. wich is really ****, his promotor already destryoed one good fighter that way! But probs to you for asking:good instead of the other fools, who just write **** about him, without knowing the facts!
I don't like this kind of thread. I don't know what you can expect to get out of it. It only draws more hate for the fighter you like.
Absolutetely agree with you Finn. I was ridiculed, which is fine when I said abraham(judging his fight at the higher weight against miranda) has a chance against ANY of the elite at 168. He looked really healthy and really STRONG against Miranda 2. A lot of poster come up with the following reasons: not tall, short arms. Tyson was the same WITHOUT aa's defense and stamina(aa's stamina is **** at 160 but should be much better at 168. I honestly think aa should fight someone like an Inkin or balsay before he starts thinking about the top dogs to feel them out. I also think Pavlik should start looking at 168 very soon, once aa leaves there is no one other then mundine or gaele, maybe pwill who pavlik would consider seeing at 160(sturm is not fighting pavlik especially if he could have fought the no 2 middle in his own country biggest payday of his carreer.. I think a pavlik karmazin fight should be a good one and a good welcome to 168:rasta
To the casual boxing fan it is, in my opinion, aa's best with was over Khoren Gevor(you probably have not heard of him) but he is fighting sturm and is ranked in top 5 or top 7 in middleweight rankings. that was fight some observers think he was having a hard time in. And as far as making fun of his wins, he called out the 3rd best middle in sturm out TWICE my friend, called out Pavlik on national tv a couple of times(not pavliks fault arum is thinking otherwise with this mora controversy). So if there are no fights available it is not his fault. Maybe pwill will stop talking and fight an abraham in Germany for a big money fight, or aa will come over to the states to fight him
Kessler is by far the most overrated guy on this forum. He has a deadly one-two.. but that's about all he has.. jab, right hand... jab, right hand.. jab, jab, right hand.. he threw two jabs that last time. OMG! Kessler is mixing it up.... seriously though.. the guy is so robotic and predictable.. and he fights bum after bum after bum. People refuse to drop him down in the rankings, despite the fact he has fought nothing but cans since he lost to Calzaghe. Froch's last two fights: Taylor and Pascal.. Kessler's last two fights: Hausler and Sartison... Perdomo next? atsch But Kessler is still the king at 168? Please. Both Froch and Bute have better claims for that..
But, notice Bhop never calls him out. If Bhop was the only source of information, Kessler wouldn't exist. Dawson, Froch, Bute, Pavlik, none of the big guys at 160, 168, or 175 calls out Kessler. That says it all.
It seems to be more a matter of fear from the ones he could meet. The only one I think has the balls to actually play fair in the negotiations is Froch. I am impressed with the cobra's balls. Bute, I think, is doing ok - at least he has been honest in saying he's not ready for Kessler yet, while most other top guys feel to precious to be that honest. Bute will top beginning of 2010, and that is when we may get Kessler-Bute. Kessler has approached almost all the others - including Hopkins, Wright etc. None of them was too keen on facing the warrior. There is the story about Miranda, but we all know that tail is bogus (Kessler tried to make it a title fight and mean while Miranda got impatient (or watched some Kessler-tapes!) and signed with Abraham instead). And what would happen if they had met? Nah, reality is more that Kessler is immensely respected and even feared by the other top boxers. Feared in the sense as 'fear of loosing'. With Taylor, at least temporarily out of the picture I hope Froch really has the balls to make the fight happen. We know that Kessler will sacrifice a lot - as he has gone abroad against the two biggest threats he has met - however there is obviously a limit an dI hope Froch doesn't negotiate with the hope that there cannot be an agreement (like many others), but with the hope that they could make the fight happen. Would be a hell of a fight!
