How do we view these 3 with a modern tint?

  1. They would all be out of their depth today

    16.7%
  2. They would all be world class today

    83.3%
  3. One or more would be world class today... Please name

3 p4p superstars who don't really get much credit in fantasy fights these days.

Let's see if the magic of xmas makes us reconsider that view.

    I put forth 3 options

    1) they would all be out of their depth in today's divisions.

    2) they would all be world class in today's divisions.

    3) one or more would be world class today... Please name.

    Tough to answer.
I try to mix actual footage with what I read and try to come up with something in the middle.
So starting with Ketchel he basically looks pretty bad on film. Squared up stiff and slower paced. Combine it with wat i read ill factor in the devistating power and his ability to go long distances and a viciouse killer instinct.
So i believe hed have the punchers chance but hed also be getting hit alot in return.
So i give him a 50/50 chance based on his power and stamina.
When i have more time ill check in on the other two. Especially O'brian who ive seen very little of so im curious.

All world class. All would get rankings. If they got beaten up at first they'd adapt. Speed, chin, power, stamina, being mad, these things never go out of fashion.

Fitzsimmons would be the best. He would still be something special.

For me O'Brien has the most "modern" style but seemed to have the least heart.

    Consider the following matches

    Fitzsimmons vs Stevenson
    O'Brien vs Ward
    Ketchel vs Golovkin

All 3 are in similar matchups against their contemporary stylistic adversaries.

They would all need time to adjust to the modern game. Some would adjust better than others.
