Ketchel, he carried his power late.I'm not a fan of Fullmer just strong , tough ,and dirty.

Fulmer would be stepping into the lions den with the Michigan assassin , Ketchel beats him up bad!

I'm not big on Fullmer either, but Ketchel didn't seem to like aggressive swarmers who roughed him up. The Papke fights lead me to believe Fullmer has a shot here. Not because he's better really, but more a styles thing.

I'd pick Papke to beat Fullmer too.
Ketchel beat Papke 3 out of 4.

Well one was disputed and many had Papke winning. My point is, Ketchel didn't have an easy go of it at all and the style that seemed to bother Ketchel seemed to be crowding him and roughing him up. While I don't rate Gene high, he would be considerably stronger than ketchel imo. Plus with more dirty fighting seemingly allowed then, Gene would still have a field day. He still might get ko'd anyways...

Fullmer couldn't handle Lausse's power and he was dropped by welterweight Gil Turner, San would leave him prone on the canvas

Ketchel has the power to end it. Does he have enough finesse to avoid Fullmers rt hand pitches that came from all directions?
Fullmer never looked particularly slow to me when he cut loose.
