    It wasn't even that, IMO.
    Looks like a completely fake KD from the film. Johnson is going down long before anything lands.

    Ketchel would beat Hearns.
    Ketchel was one of the greatest, toughest, hardest-punching middleweights of all time.

    nothing fake about it. Ketchel hit johnson with a right hand, which put him on ***** st. Johnson could not even get up on his first attempt he was so buzzed. Hearns would get knocked out by Ketchel. Ketchel hits way too hard and is too aggresive for hearns. Hearns chin will let him down again.

    Except it's fairly clear on film that Johnson was on his way down way before Ketchel's punch was even 12 inches away from him.

    4:10 - despite the commentators hype, the big punch probably only grazes an already falling Johnson.

    he was not already going down. he was trying to duck the punch and got hit on the top of the ear/head. Notice how he didn't get up right away, he fell back down because his head was still foggy. If thats fake, that's the best acting job I have ever seen by johnson.
