its a shame. he has been built up and matched well, had great momentum going into a February fight with Alexander. If he won over there and come back he could have really pushed on.

Did Bizier have three 'This Is It' cards over in Canada to get this shot?

No, he hasn't. Saldivia and Carson Jones are not adequate preparation for a World title shot. Let's face it, he's never been in a fight where he's not at least a 70-30 favourite.

That isn't smart matchmaking for a fighter about to step up to World level.

So who would you have matched him with? Most people seem annoyed that Brook didn't fight for a world title 3 years ago.

  7. I think brook was matched well and built into a local ticket seller, you have to remember he is still relatively young and can come again.
I think that brook is hearns best example of a fighter, competing regulary and gradually learning on the job.
Thing is you cant win they say brook wasnt ready for alexander, price wasnt ready for thompson yet on another thread some people argue its beneficial for frampton to fight rigondeux.Matchmakings a thankless task.

Lovemore ndou, rafael jazcaswhatshisname,a spot on froch-ward undercard, matthew hatton, carson jones, hector saldivia For me thats good regular action, yeah a step down from alexander but thats because he werent ready.

Still fancy brook to win a belt but in england not on the road

Agree with this. Might be a blessing in disguise that he pulled out of the Alexander fight although I did fancy him to get a win.

Who would you match Brook with next. Say he comes back in September, what would next season be like for Brook?

I would go for the European agaisnt Bundu. Not the best opponent but Brook has been out for a year. Bundu also highly ranked with the WBC & IBF. Then try and get a decent name for Brook. Andre Berto, Shawn Porter, Marcos Maidana in December.

  10. I like what ive seen of bundu and think that could be a bannana skin without too much to be gained.
But porter or josesito lopez are good ways into the american market that will gauge where he is,and for me he wins both impressively.

As for the thread starter, sorry i know very little of bizier without checking him out.But he isnt the name they would of been hoping for although i suppose it could leave open a chance for this cursed fight to go again late in the year.

I doubt Alexanders team will fight Brook unless they have to.

I think the US would see Kell Brook as the same as those Argentinians Hearn brought over for his fighters with high ranking Brook never even been European champion
