Why the hell is he worried so much about Khan when Bradley's on the horizon? I don't view that as a sign of confidence because he doesn't actually sound confident on beating Bradley, I see it as a sign of stupidity. That they want to rush straight to the mega fights tells me they have no faith in Alexander's ability to last fighting other good fighters consistently. I called the same thing on Paul Williams' team's attitude on fight plans- they want the biggest paydays now because their actual timeframe to collect on multiple ones if they continue to fight tough competition isn't nearly what fans expect. For Paul, it was because he had too much mileage on him already (I made that observation before the Martinez rematch) and for Devon, I think it's because they know he's just not that level of fighter. He's alright; but not superstar, superfight good. He doesn't have the physical tools nor the ring IQ to get to that level.

The closer it gets to fight night, the more I feel like Bradley's going to shred him. Notice what you hear from Bradley lately....absolutely nothing. That's because he's preparing diligently for the biggest fight in his career and he knows he still needs to keep improving instead of talking about fights down the road. Seems like Devon's seriously underestimating the task at hand with as much as he and his team keep mentioning Khan. That's like worrying about a jaguar when you're already scheduled to fight a pit bull. And the talk of moving up to 147? He wouldn't beat Clottey or Margo, let alone any of the "big 4"

"Devon's got two more bouts at 140, then he'll go up to welterweight. He's tall, he's been 139 pounds since he was age 15. We want the Big Four after Bradley, we do not care about (Amir) Khan."

Translation - "Khan's too fast and too powerful for us, we are going to avoid him like the plague."
