Kevin best remembered for his back to back fights with Hagler in Boston. Kevin was stopped on his feet bleeding from facial cuts. Hagler later insisted Kevin was the toughest opponent he faced. In a all domestic clash Kevin takes it to Benn before fight is stopped on cuts with Kevin still standing in 10 rds.

Your right Jupp ,I've read that on a few occasions about Hagler saying that. Kev was one tough son of a ..He'd had loved to have tangled with Benn. He'd have torn in to him and looked to prove himself. But yes.. Benn would have prevailed. The old cuts is probably Kev's down fall ,though he may have had Benn rocking back a few to times .

The Finnegans were tough guys, who could hang in there with anyone.
Kevin had good fundamentals who was stood right in front of you he wasn’t going anywhere, he stuck out the jab, countered and generally stood his ground. He looked nothing, there was no ripped physique, he wasn’t a big puncher but he threw and landed enough to give opponents all the trouble they could handle.
This would depend if Benn could get Finnegan out of there pretty early on because if he didn’t the longer it goes the better chance Finnegan has.
Nobody blew Finnegan away not Hagler not Sibson and I’d take Finnegan to eke out a hard fought UD providing he stayed clear of cuts.
