I'm going to bump your post in which you claim Canelo saved boxing after Pac-May...whatever that means.
May/Pac $100 PPV price + flop ****ed off a lot of the boxing fans who bought PPV. This is why everyone's numbers are down. But we shouldn't be paying $60 to watch a fight. :verysad
Espn and fat Dan are indeed reporting that the Canelo-Khan PPV did around 600k buys... the source that claimed the fight did 460k were misinformed and should jump off a cliff.:hi: Try harder next time GolovKunts!!
True Boxing Fan's are smarter than You think....Canelo lost a lot of Credibility making that fight...proves punters will not pay for a Mismatch.!!!!!
I read that Alvarez/Khan did less that 600 buys, but probably a lie.................it was a mismatch, I did not buy it.............. Golovkin/Alvarez is predicted to do well over 2,000,000 buys, and yes, the PPV will cost $100. Absurd, and PPV will go up even more ad the promoters, etc., truly believe that boxing fans are re****ed............Golovkin will fight Jacobs after that fight...............
This is true in a sense, which is why Golovkin/Lemieux did 97k ppv, but then again canelo/lara did like 300k, which was less than Canelo/Khan and not a mismatch.
460k buys is good, especially considering how much of a mismatch it was. Remember, Mayweather-Berto did LESS than Canelo-Khan. Golovkin-Canelo would probably do 1 million PPV buys. Cotto has a huge fanbase, that's why it was 900k.
