I think Floyd will have to ditch Golden Boy for this fight to get signed. If Floyd uses Golden Boy because they have resources to promote big fights, not because he is contractually obligated to do so, then it's stupid to get them involved in a fight with Pacquiao where Top Rank has all those resources already, as much or even moreso than GBP. However if he is contractually obligated to have Golden Boy promote his fights like Pac is with TR then it makes everyone's piece of the pie smaller. If that's the case then GBP would not want Floyd to fight Pac for the same reason Ellerbe states Arum doesn't want Pac to fight Floyd.

Why would Floyd want to use Top Rank after the experience he had with them promoting him before? Doesn't uncle Bob owe him money even now?

Why would Floyd want to use Top Rank after your man Pacquiao tried and succeeded with signing with GBP whilst STILL in contract with Top Rank atsch

This fight isn't happening, Bob Arum doesn't want it to and Pacquiao can't stand up to him to make it happen either.
