its just that. a gesture and a PR move to 'improve' his image.

its a nice gesture but I see through the phoniness. hopefully, he'll also pay the funeral costs of that kid with cancer since he won't fullfill his dream to fight Manny Pacquiao in his lifetime.:-(

:good:good:good:good:good To Mayweather and Arum for helping Gernaro Hernadez through his illness and his family in their tradagady.

There have been some stupid commits here at ESB. However, The stupidest ones have been on this thread.

Funny you should mention that , there is a guy that lives near me that is doing just that! They tell him he is dying and he just keeps bonging and drinking. Looks health and happy.

Why are you guys responding to the trolls seriously. They are weeded out now just from this thread alone. Block them and carry on geez. You guys have to honor yourselves by protecting Floyd at all costs wtf.

The fact is Floyd didn't have to do anything, except to express condolences for the loss. Doing something like this does help out the Hernandez family, so I can't see the reason why anyone would choose to criticize it.

There are many things that one could criticize about May-weather Jr. This action just ain't one of them.

Classy move by Mayweather to honor a classy fighter, and person, in Hernandez.

someone on ESB here earlier, contacted Mayweather Jr. about helping Genarro's costs.

Its not like Floyd heard this all of a sudden and said, "wow, I better get money out of my bank account, stop my training and help out in some way."

the fact of the matter is, if you're gonna help someone. Do it quietly.

Instead he leaked this **** to kevin iole and iole made a story and ran with it.

next, they'll be asking floyd to be inducted into sainthood by the catholic church.

love how people gush over this 'kind gesture act'

i guess its outta of the norm of beating up women, getting sued, going on vacation stories that we're used to.

    About Ali punching his wife:

From Sugar Ray Robinson book, Pound for Pound - Muhammad Ali took his wife into the bathroom and beat her.

The reason? His wife's skirt is short.

From Ali's biography The Greatest - When Robinson tried to intervene, Ali shouted "Ray, you ain't nothin' but a middleweight!"

Some of the resposses in this thread souport my theory that Pacquiao fans are the worst fans in boxing and posibily all sports.
