Seriously. I think asthmatic Shannon Briggs would beat Johnson. And he would actually knock Johnson out.

trust me guys...there isnt one american that had any faith in kevin johnson or any of the heavyweights over here ....and yes, pathetic very much describes it... i dont get how a challenger, when he gets a shot at the title doesnt at least try. its sickening. i know vitali is the of the best in this 2,000s era along with his bro, but wheres the balls on these challengers? dont they know more respects come from a losing effort even if by ko as long as you went in balls out...hell , look at brian minto..he got his ass kicked the other night, but people have more respect for him than kevin johnson.

Bring Big George out of retirement.

Shut the American heavyweight boxing scene down for a while.

Precisely. Plus the networks can market Minto a little bit. Fans will know that with him in a fight he'll give it a go. If you were a network boss would you wanna show Johnson? **** no.

Ruiz, Thompson, Arreola and Chambers are the best American heavyweights out there at this point.

Why are weird ass losers shitting on America in this thread?, is it because the man in your thread got his ass handed to him by someone who was supposed to get KO'd in three rounds at most in Andre Ward?

I see that there are a few confused Europeans in this thread. Johnson is not the best America has to offer.

Jesus, we used to have the likes of Tyson, Holyfield, Moorer, Bowe, Foreman. It was not that long ago but now seems like eons. What a damn shame!

Minto couldn't get out of the 4th with Arreola against a Klit, he'd be lucky to get out of the 2nd.

I am not shitting on america but that you think I do tells me that you are a bit ashamed of Johnson right now. Thanks for the insight.

PS: I am NOT Mikkel Kessler ;)

Not just talent but personality as well... The 90s was great for heavyweight boxing.

I aint saying Minto will get a title shot. I sincerely hope he doesn't. But I'd rather pay to watch a Minto fight than a Johnson fight any ****ing day of the week.

This was the WBC Heavyweight title and a man who calls himself 'Kingpin' treated it like a sparring session. And he was getting **** on. It comes in cycles. American heavyweight boxing will come again but for the time being. Arreola is your best. Good luck.

I think it's Chambers, but after him there isn't much.
