Kevin Johnson (32-8-1, 16 KOs), who fought the whole elite in the heavyweight division, will fight today in Germany vs Petar Milas (10-0-0, 8 KOs). Johnson has a sick resume: Loss vs Kubrat Pulev via UD in 2017 Loss vs Anthony Joshua via TKO in 2015 Loss vs Manuel Charr via UD in 2014 Loss vs Dereck Chisora via UD in 2014 Loss vs Christian Hammer via UD in 2013 Loss vs Tyson Fury via UD in 2012 Loss vs Tor Hamer via UD in 2012 Loss vs Vitali Klitschko via UD in 2009 So all of his eight losses were vs absolute elite opponents. Today he is facing a young prospect from Croatia. I have to admit i have no clue who Petar Milas is and i also know that Johnson is 38 years old and beyond his prime but i think this could be a good fight. From what i have read Skysports Germany will show this after the main event Bebraham vs Papazov.
My boy Kingpin is back Destroyed the most feared Francesco 'Italian Stallion' Pianeta in his last fight, and will now destroy this Croatian novice. I think he will call Joshua out for the most anticipated rematch in boxing.
And he displayed just enough of a lack off effort to lose the Charr and Hammer fights. He really should have won those. Nice to see him having a late career surge( if you can call it that) but he really should have accomplished more. He had the skill to be a longtime contender and a repeat title challenger.
I believe it’s also on the SkySports.de website starting at 8:40 German time, and I believe MatchTV in Russia is also showing it. Should be a decent fight for a morning where there’s not much else going on.
hehehey I was thinking only me and @moparfan support Kingpin! Glad to see someone else on this train too!!!
I am a Kingpin fan! Boy talk about a frustrating fighter to follow , but he could of done so much more i feel. Guess we'll never know. He was a live dog in the first round of Pulev, looked like he had a gameplan. Then the rest of the fight nothing! No power to speak of but I enjoy his boxing ability, defense, and that JAB. its a beauty of a jab. too bad he never won stepping it up unless u consider beating a OLD ASS seldon stepping up. i thought he'd have won a few of those mentioned in his loss column.
Give him credit for bouncing back from the Femi ko. I thought he'd quit the game, but is still a stern test for most prospects.
its sayin like 5 hours out still til fedor match, so i guess it be a while before we see the kingpin yea?
If Kingpin wins this he could possibly get a world title shot against Manuel Charr after he disposes of Oquendo.
Johnson could get a few big payday before retiring if he keeps this up does anyone know what his biggest purse was has he had many big purses
