He showed a nice Jab.

But other than that all he did was count his money in the ring.

Absolutely horrible performance. Shouldn't get a shot unless he puts in some incredible performances against some decent fighters. Even then I probably would not want to watch it. Lacked Heart in a serious way.

Not to derail the thread, but Mavrovoic vs. Lewis was a very exciting fight, and Mavrovic was there to fight and win. He had a warrior's heart, who gave LL a run for his money, which KJ not even tried.

Did that guy even get trough the drug test, cause he definetely is 'on something'... If I was KJ I'll buy myself a nice place on some island, and never show my face in the neighbourhood of a boxring again! That guy is a disgrace to boxing, I have even more respect for Margarito, at least he tried to win the fight! :-(

At least Sosnowski will give it a good go before he inevitably gets stopped. Vitali stopped Gomez and Arreola but they tried to make a fight out of it, Johnson's only aim was to survive.

There is nothing even remotely commendable about not throwing punches for the purpose of not getting knocked out. I'd rather see Arreola get starched — and far more importantly, HBO would rather see Arreola get starched — than suffer through another ducking and weaving exhibition from Kingpin.

You also noted that Johnson looked "off." OK, who's he fought that's even close to Vitali's caliber? Lots of guys suddenly don't look themselves when they take a huge step up in competition.

Sadly, by not attempting to compete, Johnson embarrassed himself, his family and American boxing on the whole. He's just concocting the post-facto rationalizations to try to finagle another TV appearance.

Wow. Dude I am not at all saying this ISN'T BS. It very well could be. He also may have looked like crap due to VK being so good. My ONLY point is that I have seen him fight in the past and I had never seen him fight like that. You guys could be right. He could be right. I just want to see him in again to remove all doubt.

Do I think he should get a big fight? Hell no. He should scratch his way back up to the top. I also agree that VK won the fight by shutout. I also thought it was a horrible showing by KJ. You guys act like I am defending that crap or diminishing VK's win. WTF?

Why are you guys taking this as my dissing VK? I am not!!!!
