I know KJ is a big dog, but plus 1000 seems a bit much no? I feel almost compelled to throw $20-30 on him on sheer principle. I mean, personally I think he might be the biggest test of Vitali's comeback. Throw in a 2 inch reach advantage and we have ourselves a live dog. This is his chance to back up all the trash talk he has spewed over the years; either he crashes and burns, or passes with flying colors. Plus 1000, any takers?
I know nothing about betting. About how much could you possibly win if you did bet a 20 spot on Johnson if these are the odds?
Think about it for one second, they're actually estimating a 10% chance to win for Johnson. I would actually only give him around 6-7%. I wouldn't put a dollar on Kevin. Now if I had seen him fight impressively and looking good in training, I might have agreed, but in this case, I dont.
i love how some fanboys wont even acknowledge someone even has a 10% chance of beating Vitali. Look at his record , looks like 2 losses are already on there. are the odds low that Vitali will go down for a 10 count? yes, i would say the odds are 20% that at his age, he could suffer another ring injury...he could cut a nasty cut and lose...or he could just get his ass kicked and grow old in one night...if you have watched enough boxing, it happens....
You can't completely wrap your mind around odds, is all. So ok, you give Kevin Johnson (39% KO ratio) 20% chance of knocking down Vitali. That is 1/5. Meaning, they fight 5 fights, you pick Kevin to knock him down at least once. Vitali has never been down as a professional boxer, he's fought Lennox Lewis, Samuel Peter, Corrie Sanders.. all fighter with a bigger punch than Kevin Johnson. Now, Vitali has boxed 174 rounds as a professional and never been knocked down. And you give a fighter with a 39% KO ratio a 20% chance of knocking him down during the fight? My man, you don't understand odds completely. He lost two times, both times because of an injury or a cut. Meaning he lost 2/40 fights (5% loss ratio), both fights of which he was ahead on the scorecards, and both men superior technically and physically to Kevin Johnson. Giving Johnson 10% of winning is quite generous in my view, I don't see him winning, and him knocking down Vitali at 20%? Thats just outright laughable.
Worth a bet I think Johnson will do pretty well and he punches a bit harder than what his record says, 116-112 Klitschko I guess VK will probably walk him down late in the fight and stop him but something tells me Johnson will box and move well from the outside for most the fight, maybe going the distance
