Kevin Johnson is classless!

I agree with you, if everyone was like Arreola it would be toughman. That said I like some guys that just come at you and try to impose their will physically.

I'm actually impressed with Johnson, he shows promise. I'm not asking that he be a brawler but I'd like to see him establish the jab, throw some more 1,2's and some more combo's here and there. He could have won that fight tonight with his right hand tied behing his back. He could have jabed Vargas into submission had he thrown it more.

He did finish pretty well but he waited too long. Maybe I'm being picky but he needs to throw more.

 

Johnson is good. I'd like to see him step up and fight a top 15 heavyweight now. I think that he's ready.

 

I think you need to read the article about KJ (one man many jobs) as see how classless he really is. KINGPIN is the ultimate pro fighter, and a fan fave..Deal with it....KINGPIN PRIDE FOR EVER..

 

Wasn't the best thing to say but not unusual in todays sports "culture". Almost missed this one. I've heard of Kingpin but never heard of Vargas. Not surprised at the outcome - Kingpin looked clearly bigger and Vargas has faught nobodies and still has a low KO%.

From what I saw Kingpin is no threat to the top HWs.

 

Yeah I thought I heard him say it, not the most gracious winner. But a good fight and win for him.

I agree Johnson was classless postfight. I don't mind trash talking before a fight, but when the fight is over show respect for your opponent. That was WWE crap.

Vargas showed his toughness and his opponent should have acknowledged that. I'm not castigating KJ for his behavior, because who really cares what I think, but I'm saying for me personally it showed what kind of character he really has.

 

Whoa, are you serious??? Had you seen Johnson before this fight? ALL he did before was jab in a safety first manner. He has added to his arsenal by adding any punch at all OTHER than the jab.

I suspect he was more aggressive against Vargas because he absolutely knew that kid couldn't hurt him.
