I don't know where this myth of Fury having no power is coming from. He's shown plenty of one punch power in both his hands since moving up a level these last couple of years. With his drastic improvement in his condition I expect to see some huge stoppage wins for Fury over the course of his career.
Yeah, people like to use Chisora to point out his apparent lack of power ... Chisora who has only been stopped once and it took monster shots to do it. If people did there research and watched him fight they'd see he has some sickening ko's to his name ... unfortunately it seems people have only seen his last few fights (He stopped all 4 of his last opponents might I add).So the no power stuff is ****ing nonsense.
Fury clearly has power, he was busting up and stopping guys with arm punches he also laid that big brazillian spark out
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hllzMpsF_ZU[/ame] Savage ko,just as brutal as anything Price has produced. Most of his early wins are stoppages due to him smashing the body of his opponents, some nasty body shots.
Fury does have knock out power but i don't think he has knocked anyone out since Narciento with a single punch.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01p1m8r/BBC_Newsline_27_11_2012/ Fury & Johnson on the couch together on BBC last night. Starts aroun 17.30 in.
I think the value and sensible way to back Johnson would be by stoppage during the 11th 66/1 and 12th 80/1. Can't see him getting the result any other way.
It's nothing special to be fair, both guys give their opinions on eachover,Johnson spouts some nonsense about the bible and Fury looks on with a grin, says Johnson should have his own show and that he's the best talker he's met ... then reminds Johnson it's not about talking but fighting. The reporter guy asks em to stand side by side to see just how big they are and Johnson hesitates ...both of em are pretty classy toward eachover though, nothing like in that radio interview. Fury looks very, very confident.
I'm not sure. Given he's only had just over 3 weeks to prepare (unless he knew earlier) and Fury has had a full training camp and extensive conditioning work, I think if anything it's the other way round I'm not really sure what to expect in this one, but i'd say Johnson early or Fury late. ....but Johnsons a slow starter damn, i dont know
