It seems Kevin Johnson has been given a wake up call and accepted that he won't win the heavyweight title after all.

Kingpin performed horribly in his big fight against Fury, barely threw any punches at all.

Johnson said "...Fury hits harder than anyone I’ve faced – and that includes Vitali Klitschko...he boxes intelligently and he has a great jab. I truly believe he will be the next heavyweight champion..."

    Indeed

Fury performed better against Chisora and Kevin Johnson than Vitali did. I bet Chisora would admit the same thing. Fury gave Chisora way worse beating then Vitali did. Vitali only outboxed him he wasnt rocking Chisora like Fury was

Johnson just trying to save face.

Also, we all know that power alone does not make a champion. Ask Ernie Shavers. Ask Tua.

The fact Johnson said "Fury hits harder than Vitali" isn't surprising. Vitali is an arm puncher.

Fury has better combos, body punching etc

Fury will be knocked the **** out if he goes up against Wlad. He's a sitting duck. He would be more competitive against Vitali. But would still lose imo

Fury is too exciting a fighter for his own good, if that makes sense. He can't go up against Wlad the way he does other opponents and think he can win.

As if what K Johnson says has much credibility

Fury at 24, if he's the real deal, should beat a 41 y/o - even Vitali.

Wlad is also much older than Fury, but at this time I'd pick the younger K bro to defeat Fury.

Good luck to Fury the HW scene needs more contenders. At this time he cant beat old vitali or wlad. Doesnt mean he isnt top 10 right now.

Fury should employ Mayweather Sr. for defense.

What, the skill to stand there and take punches to the face repeatedly?
