I actually wouldnt mind a Fury vs Vitali fight, the time to beat Vitali is now.... an energetic, gritty, big guy like Fury just might have what it takes to beat the old man. Would like to see it before Fury vs Wlad. If Fury beat Vitali it would make the Wlad fight huge.

24 year old Fury probably hits harder than a 40 year old Vitali. However, I doubt Fury is more lethal than a 30 year old Vitali used to be.

p4p a fly probably hits very hard.

probably harder than most heavies. With quicker reflexes and speed too.

Bull****,because he couldn't stop a guy that's never been stopped before ? Fury can hurt guys, sure he doesn't have massive one punch power but he hits hard enough to ko/stop opponents once he has them in trouble. What the **** does size have to do with punching power anyway??

I don't see why Fury can't beat Vitali right now. I think he can.

Wlad hits much harder than Vitali.

    Wlad will KO Tyson Fury.

I have no doubt about Fury beating Vitali by lopsided decision. It wouldnt mean nothing whatsoever at this time since Vitali is old. Now if Vitali was in his prime then that would be a total different story.

Nah, i still think Vitali will have enough in his tank to beat Tyson. Fury hasn't got the chin, and Klitshko is much too durable, better boxer too.

Fury vs. Vitali would be an interesting matchup IMO. Fury has enough balls to at least make the first 2-3 rounds competitive.

    Afraid your right.:think

Im a huge Fury fan now, and Ive been coming around since the Pajkic fight. I used to want to see him KTFO for his **** talking, but Ive grown to like it. He keeps it relative and real.

During the Pajkic fight he ate a huge R hand and was dropped. He recovered well, and went on to stop Pajkic who basically punched himself out going for the KO.
In a fight with Vitali, it would be a battle of the jabs and Fury would be forced onto the backfoot, tying Vitali up when he got in range. Not an easy task for a big man to do against a guy who STILL could drop you with a well times shot.

Now, Im not advocating a duck here. Just saying that Fury is young enough that he doesnt need to go through the K2 on his road to greatness. There are other routes, namely the WBA minor world title. Also, he could get the NABO and defend those belts for a yr or two while awaiting Vitalis retirement.

There are literally more guys gunning for the WBC vacant title and the WBA minor title than actually wanting the K2. If Fury were to nab the WBA and get a mandate for the WBC, he could essentially build a better resume than Vitali within a yr or two.:think
