I can not see Kev staying awake til the 12th round against either Haye or Vitali.

 

Kevin Johnson, has been managed in a way that leads me to belive he or his backers dont believe in himself in a proper way. They can fool themselves all day long but when you fight bad journeyman with no ambition, one prospect and a has been shitty champion of a paper belt....then your asking for trouble.

His conditioning is crap for a pro athelte, his power needs work on, his skills need to be sharper and he should have taken better quality of fighters in preparation for fight like this.

 

Lazy puncher...fights to the level of his opponent.

From what I have seen of him he only seems to have a jab and has fought some very poor oppo. Klitschko deals with him easier than Arreola imo. Haye would destroy him with his speed and power

 

Kevin Johnson is an atrocious fighter to say the least. He appears talentless. I only hope he has some intangiables like durability. I expect Vitali to harpoon him. Completely different leagues.

The 3 champs at present are good champs. The contenders is where the problem lay. Another issue is our champs aren't fighting each other cos they are ****ing brothers. If they weren't, they could've had their own little trilogy.

 

When people complain about the quality of the heavyweight division, someone like Kevin Johnson getting a title shot should be a prime exhibit.

He's beaten no-one, he's shown nothing and he's rated high based off not losing yet.

People used to rag on guys like Michael Grant for their comp back in the day. Grant's 97-99 resume looks like an absolute murderer's row compared to the journeymen, tomato cans and 40-something Seldon Johnson had to get past.

I attach no blame to Vitali for taking it, but Johnson is a lousy contender.
He'll have to show me something he hasn't shown in the whole of his career to date to even win a round.

 

Who else is there? Who should Johnson have fought?

If he'd schooled Arreola, who's probably the first name in your throats, you'd be saying what some of us have said all along "oh well Arreola's rubbish". Yeah no ****!
