So, KJ just held his own, but lost to Chisora, Hammer, and Charr in decent fights.

He won early rds vs all of them, IMO, but went a bit too defensive and his workrate slowed costing him the fights.

He's made a bunch of money now, being brought in as the gatekeeper, is it time for him to become the journeyman his latest credentials are lending to him, or should he restart with a couple of lower $$$, local fights so he can rebuild his resume, and get back into contention.:think

Gavern, Ding, Scott.......a couple winnable notable fights, and he's back into the top 20.:think

No KJ fight in recent years has been a decent fight, guy shows up time after time and when it counts most, he doesn't punch. He needs to find another line of work

If fights were only 4 rounds johnson would be a top ten fighter, if we are being generous

He's always been a gate keeper level fighter. His best win is who...a 40 year old Bruce Seldon or Alex Leapai? Whenever he's fought anyone who wasn't a journeymen level fighter he's been beaten soundly.

He's basically Audley Harrison with a chin. He's a pure counter puncher, terribly passive, doesn't like to lead and can be easily outworked.

With 3 losses in a row it will be hard for him to find another decent payday, his record no longer looks good enough for any contender to face him to pad their record because he's been exposed as a c level fighter.

He can't lose vs the The Airich's or the Gaverns or the Dings.

He's NOT a journeyman, but he hasnt taken a soft touch in a long time.

Im a fan, and I think he could get in line for another title shot if he got back in winning ways by taking lower level fights.:think

Johnson has the skills to be a top contender, but mentally he just doesn't have it much like Hamer...
