I must have missed the part where Barrett 'nearly knocked Haye out' though.

Can't work out whether Johnson means either:

(a) If one of the wild swings that Barrett sent several feet wide of the target had by some miracle connected it would have had anyone's head off

or

(b) If temporary blindness had afflicted the referee and Barrett could have landed another couple of flush shots on Haye while Haye was sitting on the canvas he might have finished the job.

 

I dont think Barrett is any better than Seldon...So the wins are about the same...Both 5 round knockouts over first tier heavyweight gate keepers...

 

Haye smash this fraud ass clown up......all he has is a jab, he's nothing more then a Friday Night Fights fighter

I was thinking the same thing....he claims Monte Barrett with an over 60% KO ratio has no power....he must have forgotten to look at his own record!! Looking at the pic on that article he looks like a big powerful guy...then I looked him up on boxrec and realised he's all talk. Yeah he's undefeated but he's fought who? A washed up Seldon was the only name I recognised on his record.

 

Haye would walk through and probably destroy Johnson. One thing we'd find from this fight is how good Johnson's chin is though.

 

if johnson was smart he would use his POWER to help him say something like i prob wont ko you but i will beat you with my skill. it could be a dangerous for haye i would like to see it cause the puncher wont always beat the boxer if not johnson i would like to see haye fight estrada another fighter with "no power" but i bet both jason and kevin will put on a clinic against haye
