Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson is really challenging himself after the loss to VK...

His rebound opponent Charles Davis is, like Vitali Klitschko, also 39.

Unlike Vitali, he has an overall losing record of 19-20-2 and has ended fewer than 10% of his professional bouts with knockouts or other forms of stoppage win...and began his career as a super middleweight.

I guess all that negative evasiveness and avoiding getting hit at all costs really took a toll on Kingpin, so it's understandable he'd want to take it easy...especially with him still maintaining that he has serious title aspirations. :blood

The VK fight must have caused this guy to lose every last ounce of confidence he had.

I just want you to step back, take a deep breath, and think of the H.

There is no minor freakout that H visualization can not see you through.

Major freakouts might require being strapped in a'la Clockwork Orange for a slideshow of H MSPaints.

Don't underestimate the almighty Charles Davis, he was robbed 22 times against ATG like Sione Asipeli! :rofl

I don't get why there is so much flak directed towards Kingpin. Yeah, he had a very shitty fight and should/could have done A LOT more, but imho, if he gets his act together, he could still do some good in the division.

I used to defend him a lot, but since the performance in his biggest opportunity to date (and his attitude about it afterward) it's been hard not to look down on him along with everybody else.

He isn't doing his image any favors or making any headway toward doing some good in the division by fighting guys like Davis, either.

Agreed, his conduct after the fight wasn't good, but don't you think that he can come back and do something worthwhile in the division if he gets his attitude and punch output together? And as far as him fighting Davis goes, I have no problem with a quick tune up fight, but right after this fight, he should definitely step it up.

So the worthless bum chooses to fight against a fellow worthless bum.

A bit more padding of wins over tomato cans on that record, to smooth over the loss to VitKlit, & maybe Wladdy will give him a title shot. Chisora got one...

The Kingpin can have a tune -up fight I have no problem with it. He hasn't fought since last year so cut him some slack. I think he still can be a threat in the division.

Kingpin has a good defense, so if he could only improve his work rate, he could become real threat to top-20 guys
