Pretty easy and worry-free win; I'll say ten round shutout...good career padder over a name vet, but after this I really want to see Kevin take on a top 20 and work his way up to the position Chambers got himself in - and hopefully validate my ****-talking and satisfy my own curiosity as to whether he can, as I've surmised, rise to a big occasion more aptly than Eddie.

If he doesn't get a knockout over Seldon he should consider retiring. On second thought a decision win would be okay even against a jellow jaw 41 year old like Seldon.

Seldon can bang. Kevin just might get his chin checked.

I read somewhere that Seldon threw the fight against Tye Fields ?

I would think Johnson wont have the fire power to keep Seldon off him. But he may only need a jab to do so. Should be interesting if Seldon can land a clean punch seeing Johnson is still pretty green.

Seldon's power should be a non-issue; as first of all Kevin has shown no glaring indications of a bad chin the few times he's been hit clean by the subpar opposition he's faced. Which leads me to the next major reason: an old Seldon who was never a master sharpshooter to begin with is not finding a target here.

I don't really expect KJ to knock him out, as that's just not his style; he isn't really active enough to break a guy down or aggressive enough to be an effective finisher. I don't expect Malignaggi to knock out the partially shot, undeniably shopworn, and far from iron-jawed Hatton either, but rather to beat him by well beyond a comfortable margin (unless he shows up in a sloppy state mentally; which is also the only thing that could undo Kingpin). If either Johnson or Malignaggi were to register a stoppage, I would be mildly (and pleasantly) surprised, but it would most likely be like an 'accidental' shot in pool where you sink one of your balls without having called it or clearly been trying for it. Seldon or Hatton being stopped would say a lot more about them and their current state than it would about their conquerors.

    QFT.

Seldon will eat Johnson's grossly underrated jab all night. If there is a stoppage, it will be Seldon quitting. Wide UD.

Fields is a big boy. Sloppy but has power. Woder if Monte fights the winner of this fight?
