I'd be really curious to see them step on the scales right now - would easily believe that Palacio had rehydrated to like 190+.

Long delay in starting round 8, there was an issue with Sadjo's gloves. For a sec I thought either he or Palacio had quit.

Bell rings and Palacio is floating jabs, keeping distance now, different tactic, abandoning the clinches.

Palacio loses his gum shield for the second time in the last two rounds. Ref lets him and his corner know he's getting fed up with it.

Sadjo marching up to him and RIPPING big can opener rights, looking for the KO. Palacio just managing to melt against the ropes and slip everything putting out a smokescreen of light counters.

Ref calls time out and issues a stern warning to Palacio for stiff-arming.

Sadjo with a shoeshine volley on the body. Crowd getting amped up. Sadjo leaning in on Palacio, letting the punches go as Palacio tries wrapping his arms up.

Palacio loses his gum shield AGAIN. Ref takes a point, I think? Or might've just been pointing his finger. Unclear.

Damn, he isn't the best ref but I feel a little bad for this guy - between Palacio's ineluctable gum shield yeeting and Sadjo's gloves becoming untaped multiples times....keeping him on his toes.

 

Sadjo tired but poking relentlessly at the body of Palacio with straight hard shots with both hands. Palacio's strength flagging, can't smother his way to a clinch anymore. Mouth-breathing.

Everytime the ref gets involved there’s about a 10 second delay.

 

Palacio's entire left cheek is going to be purple and swollen from punches when he wakes up tomorrow morning.

Sadjo with a couple of hard thumps on the skull, a few borderline at the base of Palacio's ears.

Oof, ref docks a point from Sadjo for rabbit punching with just a few seconds left in the round.

Oh wow. Sadjo looked to be wilting, got hammered into the ropes by some Palacio hooks, but either was playing a little possum or recovered in a hurry because he now had Palacio rocked with some uppercuts!
