Kevin Lerena vs. Roman Golovashchenko RBR.

More safety-first BS from Lerena. Couple of nice stiff follow-through jabs stepping in from Golovashchenko, but very few & far between, and Lerena did sprinkle in enough right hook (or uppercut) and left hand combos to outscore him.

Golo has nothing left, just diving in with sloppy body combos, missing, and draping himself across Lerena's torso like a poncho. Nearly a full minute of clinches, one after the other. Lerena warned for a rabbit punch and Golovashchenko simultaneously warned for plowing in headfirst. This is getting UGLY but at least the pace is picking up a little. Somebody might get caught with a stray haymaker and laid out..so there is that..

 

Twelfth goes to Golovashchenko mostly for pressing the action, scoring a few body shots, and clipping Lerena with a single looping right while diving face-first past a telegraphed combo.

Hopefully Lerena starts to fight some real opponents then he might get exposed soon. Weak.

 

Interestingly this is governed by the German Boxing Association, and Golovashchenko is listed a German citizen, so I wonder if a robbery is in the makings

 

Would be one of those rare moments where i can't be angry about a robbery tbh although i have big bet on Lerena

 

Don't worry, Gallowsvaschenko, you tried a singles run and ended up plateauing at mid-carder but you can always return to a successful tag run with fellow Bullet Club alum Karl Anderson...

I couldn't get a stream working properly for this one and didn't try very hard to look elsewhere. Doesn't sound like I missed much, or that Golvo-whatever should of even been such a narrow dog...
