Headlining a Boxeo di Primera card on TyC Sports tomorrow night. The vacant South American super flyweight title (with a history dating to 1986, but last worn by Juan Carlos Reveco in 2017) will be at stake.

Muñoz, a 21 year old yet to ever compete outside his native Argentina, is coming off a knockout in September of Luis Alfredo "El Colibrí" Guerrero Rosales of Venezuela for the vacant IBF Youth super fly championship. Averanga, hailing from La Paz in Bolivia, is coming off his first professional defeat two months earlier, against Chilean veteran José Luis "Pancora" Velásquez Cárdenas for the vacant WBO Latino super bantamweight title.

This one should be fun. Muñoz seems like a nice switch-hitting boxer-puncher and yet still has lots of defensive flaws to iron out. If he's legit he can grind Averanga down but it won't be a cake walk.

Five hours from now...third chance saloon for anybody that wanted a Friday boxing fix but missed both the Russian and Italian cards earlier. Argentina's got your hookup.
