Wow this is a blast from the past, where has this come from have I dreamt the last two years

In all seriousness I genuinely shouldn’t lower myself to answer this post but I will give Xoborb the benefit of the doubt and, really hope, that he has got confused, and somehow thinks im involved in Mikes recent unlicesenced fights and that’s the point he is making.

Obviously I have nothing to do with these, and have not so much as held a pad for Mike since before the Ricky Burns fight. I probably paid the biggest part in convincing Mike to call it a day after the Burns fight.

Xoborb if you are the close friend you claim to be, you will have obviously met me, baring in mind Mike lived with me for the best part of two years while I trained him. So you should know the above and beyond job I did for him and his family.

As for I now have my claim to fame? In the last few years I have personally worked with and promoted shows with Steve Collins-Frank Bruno-Henry Cooper-Joe Calzaghe-Ricky Hatton-Tim Witherspoon-Sugar Ray Leonard-Roy Jones Junior and Mike Tyson. But yes training Mike is still top of my list!

As far as explaining to Alison and the kids my conscience is clear. Infact ive lost track of the the times Alison has thanked me for the job I did with him, in and out of the ring!
I know for a fact that Mike would be the first person to point out that it wasn’t boxing that made him “Talk and act the way he does”

Theres obviously no doubt what so ever that boxing is the toughest sport in the world, and I fully agree sometimes boxers need to be saved from themselves. However In the case of Gomez boxing 100% saved his life, not hindered it.
In terms of “talking and acting the way he does” Let me give you this example. Jamie Moore, almost the exact same age as Mike, almost the exact amount of fights. You can argue just as many wars. However anyone who has met Jamie, or herd his commentary will see how he speaks and carries himself. The difference? their lifestyle out of the gym. The part ANY trainer cannot control! And trust me ive tried!!!

Thank you to the guys who have left positive comments. But I would have to say if I thought the comments left by xoborp were slanderous and way, way off the mark. Its simply not half as bad as Arnie just calling Bill Nelson ‘Wee Man????’

Got to say he seems a really sound bloke to be honest. When we went down to his gym its super proffesional as you would expect.
Came into our dressing room straight after the groves anderson fight and was first class. Good guy! :good
