I would not be adverse to a Rees v Mitchell match up and while I would favour Rees I still wouldn't rule Kevin out. However despite Billy stating otherwise I still see Burns v Rees as a likely option for September.

  2. Why is it clearcut that Rees beats Mitchell

The Kevin Mitchell that beat Murray and Prescott is a tough ask for anyone at lightweight
Burns knew he had the beating of him before they got in the ring but Rees is a different story
    A 50 50 fight

Don't talk **** mate Kevin more talented than Ricky!
How can you possibly say that the way Ricky dismantled him and would do so again and again

what about Kevin v Rees for the vacant title if Broner gives it up?
Great fight but I'd favour Gavin although both should stay away from Ricky and will.

You'd think Ricky was the second coming the way Billy goes on about him. It's as if the beating he took from Gonzalez has been wiped from his memory.

Far from it mate we're back in the gym already working,Ricky has 2weeks off not 2-3moths there's a big diffrence.
I'm not trying to give anyone a hard time it's just fact Ricky is the better fighter and if you think differently then your a fool

    oh is he aye?

define talent then. what is it? hand speed? head movement? instinct? boxing brain? I dont think he's better than Burns at anything, apart from punching form maybe

    Agreed!

He's the most inactive fighter, I know he's been changing promoters but he hardly ever fights. He's n his prime he should be trying to build some momentum he's not a veteran world champion coming to the end of his reign who can fight twice every 18 months like Martinez or Vitali. His inactivity is even more damaging as he sits about drinking in between fights and gets out of shape.

  9. He is a wasted talent

    Not a talent
